What we have now:

  • North mountain view is a priority
  • South view is also lovely, but mountains are in the distance and only visible in the higher spots on the property
  • Southern sun exposure is a MUST. I LOVE THE SOUTH SUN
  • Constant Winds move West to East
  • Driveway is recommended to go East to West and be as short as possible, but we have better topography on the North side
  • Trophy: Winner of a neighbor that is kind of an eyesore. :) 
  • Yellow Arrows: Flow of water from creek/mountain run-off
  • Brown checkers: Highest/driest part of property
  • Green Bushes: Tall, overgrown brush lines the creek
  • Neon Green: Driveways/Culverts
  • Blue Road: This is the road we take to get to the property

Other thoughts:

  • Locker room style bathrooms (girls/boys) would accommodate more people at one time, reduce plumbing costs, and allow for easier indoor well accessibility
  • One-wall kitchen for easier clean-up, and more space for dining/playing
  • Large, open space with garage door entries would allow for flexible activities and large groups in all seasons
  • RV Glass Garage doors instead of windows--for indoor/outdoor experience
  • Want kids to be able to ride bikes inside to outside!
